Hi Everyone, well I know it has been a while, but here are some new photos taken with my IPhone since our regular camera's battery charger is lost.... long story
Levi waiting for his swimming lessons to start

Levi's Preschool class had a tour of the dental office. Here is his class having a snack before their parents take them home for the day.

Levi got a new bike with his birthday money from Grandma and Grandpa Cartwright as well as his easter present from Mom & Dad.  He loves this thing
Above Levi is showing off his new Lugz shoes....
After showing them off he proceeded to break dance in the main isle at Staples.  The managers came out of the back office just to watch and gave him a big round of applause he was soo excited.
Levi's preschool had a tour of the local greenhouse. He loved smelling all the flowers...
Here he is smelling the flowers...
For mothers day the class held a tea for their mothers.  Each child decorated two cupcakes to share with their mom, made a corsage & even planted a flower just for mom.  It made it all worth it.

Update

Hello blog followers.  Just a little update for you of our home.  Levi has been potty training for a little over a week now and has good days and bad days.  Today we went shopping getting him runners and shin pads gearing up for Soccer which should be starting soon.  Also with all the sunny weather we bought levi his firt bike.  It is a little Tigger Bike all orange and black with training wheels and a handle for us to grab if he goes the wrong way or needs help... HE LOVES IT.  I got a picture on my new phone and will have to post soon.

I (Penny) have been working wiht a personal trainer twice a week and have also started a daily workout here at home.  I have set some personal goals to get in shape and feel healthy again.  So far I have been doing okay, however I have a goal to get better.

Toby has been working alot and his company is starting to get busier lately.  Also on the go is another "Guys" trip.  He has some friends from Pemberton coming to town in May and they are going on an overnight JetBoat trip.  Should be good times.

Landen is getting much bigger and fast.  Last week there was no wieght gain as he had the flu for a day.  Poor little guy had to go to the hospital to be sure he was not dehydrated.  However now he is doing well at 12 weeks of age and 12lbs 12ozs and 25" in length.

We heard from Toby's Dad and step mom today who are back in Canada.  They are planning a trip with Grandma Cartwright to come and visit us for May Long weekend.  We are looking forward to seeing them and Landen will meet Gamma and great Grandma for the first time.  This will be a very special visit and I hope to get lot's of pictures.  I also need to be sure to get a couple photos of the three generations of boys (Bob, Toby, Levi & Landen).  I love getting these pictures as they will be great to look back on for the boys.

Tons of memories have been going on however we lost our camera battery charger so have been unable to get as many photos as we would like.  So until next time we will continue to clean, reno & declutter our home in hopes of selling to purchase our new dream home... CHEERS!

Train Ride to Jasper

On Saturday Toby, myself and the kids went aboard the Skeena Train with Via Rail from Prince George to Jasper to stay one night.  Below is a picture of the engine that took us from Prince George to Jasper.

Here is a family shot of the four of us in the dome car of the train.  Weather on our way to Jasper was EXCELLENT.  Sun was shining and sky was clear.  To top off our trip we had the train all to ourselves!  Levi had a blast wandering around.

Levi and Toby had fun playing with toys and watching for wildlife.  We had the pleasure of seeing many eagles on the river.

VIA Rail still delivers the mail to Penny, BC so of course we had to get our picture taken when we stopped.  So below is me (Penny) and my two boys in Penny, BC

With such great weather heading into Jasper we had a great view of Mount Robson

The dome car was too bright for Landen most of the time so I brought him here to the couch for a while.  He loved it, I had him laying on the couch while I ate lunch and he layed there with tons of smiles talking away.  Our attendant just fell in love with him.

Below is an old engine parked in Jasper and Levi had to get his picture taken with it as it was just huge.

When in Jasper we stayed at the Jasper Park Lodge.  Below we went for a family walk before dinner.  The lodge is beautiful and if you have never been I highly reccomend it.  They have a lake there (as seen below) and we were lucky enough to have our room with a full view of the lake and the mountains.  Beautiful is all I can say.

The trip was a great family getaway and we hope to do it again. Other places we would like to travel would be across Canada as well as PG to Prince Rupert.  Our attendant Tracy said the PG to Prince Rupert trip is the most beautiful.  She has been working with VIA rail for 29 years and she chose this route to work on as it is her favourite.  She resides in Kelowna and comes here for her working shift of 13 days straight.  I had a great time visiting with Tracy. I discovered what a small world especially in the train industry.  We were chatting and I told her I was raised mostly in North Bend and Boston Bar, she mentioned how she used to love stopping there to buy pies in the early 80's from the beanery.  That put a smile on my face as my Grandpa Roy made those pies then, the same Grandpa Roy Landen received his middle name from.  It was a special trip with many memories and I look forward to our next family trip together.

My friend Paul is a photographer and he took a bunch of pictures of me when I was pregnant with Landen and then came by when Landen was first born. Below is just a couple pictures as his computer program buggered up. I am waiting for the rest and hope they come soon. Till then, enjoy as I have they turned out pretty cute if Ido say so myself.

I really like this one
Well I hope you have enjoyed these as much as I do. I love my boys and look forward to Paul taking some great family shots as well. He would like to come out with us on the river when we take the family and get some action shots.
May long weekend my family is planning to be here... the WHOLE family. This will include my Dad & Ginny, My eldest sister Michelle with her whole family, My sister Jessica with her family, and my brother Rodney with his family and of course me & My family. This will be the FIRST time of us all getting together EVER. It should be a great time and I hope Paul will still be in town to come by and get some good shots as well of this family time.

Just a Little Update

Well Toby is away in Stewart right now snowmobiling and has the camera so no new photos except for this one. I went to the hospital last week to get Landen's hearing tests complete and decided to stop in to see my friends at the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation. While I was there visiting my girlfriend snapped this adorible shot.

As most people know, our eldest son Levi loves to entertain, sing and play instruments. Well one night he came running out of his room wearing just his guitar. I am sure one day he will want to kill me for this, but I couldn't help myself it is too precious. Enjoy!
So when Toby gets home tomorrow I will be able to post some new pictures and maybe some from his sledding adventures. He and his friends from Pemberton and PG head up every year usually during the Christmas break. Since the snow was not ideal the guys headed to Pemberton during the break and decided to do their Stewart trip now. I guess the snow is still not ideal, however their weather has been great and have been having a great time.
Till next time...
